John Harris Smith

John Harris Smith, age 68, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died suddenly December 25, 2015 at his brother's residence in Franklin, TN. He was an employee of Sherwin-Williams Company, a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam, member of the Methodist Church and son of the late James Andrew and Katherine Ruth Brooks Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by brother, Jim Brooks (Jan) Smith of Franklin, TN; two nieces, Megan Smith of Oakland, CA and Lea Mary Bannister of Memphis, TN. Graveside service and interment will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in Mt. View Cemetery with Robert "Bob" Case and James Johnson to officiate. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 and 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at High's.
