Oliver Myers Donnell

Franklin, TN resident (formerly of McMinnville) and Warren County native Oliver Myers Donnell, age 85, was born June 19, 1930 and died December 26, 2015 at Grace Healthcare of Franklin, TN following a brief illness. A self-employed truck broker, United States Air Force veteran of Korea and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Jim L. and Lucy Ware Donnell. He was married to Sarah Elizabeth Ramsey Donnell who preceded him in death in 1972. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Douglas Donnell and sister-in-law, Heloise Ramsey Dearman. Mr. Donnell is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Mark Moshier of Huntsville, AL; two grandchildren, Matthew Moshier and Sarah Beth Moshier both of Huntsville, AL; sister-in-law, Doris Donnell of Smithville, TN; two nieces, Jayma Donnell of Nashville, TN and Jan Dearman Sansom of Atlanta, GA; nephew, Jim Dearman of Huntsville, AL and five great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Mt. View Cemetery with Mark Moshier officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 2:00 p.m. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
