Margaret Jean Sparkman

Margaret Jean Sparkman, age 60, a McMinnville, TN resident and Goshen, IN native died January 6, 2016 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a brief illness. She was a motor home painter, member of First Baptist Church and daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Garner Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-son, Kenneth Dale Sparkman, Jr. and brother, Charles Collins III. Mrs. Sparkman was married October 6, 1975 to Kenneth Dale Sparkman who survives. She is also survived by step-children, Yalta Faye (Glenn) Gay, Wendy Walsh and Christopher Sparkman all of McMinnville, William Eugene Sparkman of Woodbury, TN, Diana Coburn of South Bend, IN and William White of Elkhart, IN; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Shea of Salt Lake City, UT and Penny (John) Cupery and Donna Curtis both of Elkhart, IN; brothers, Larry Collins of Phoenix, AZ, Floyd Collins of Stoughten, IL and James (Sandy) Collins of Statesville, NC and brother-in-law, Wade (Violet) Sparkman of McMinnville. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 in High's Chapel with Titus Ward to officiate. Interment will follow in Brick House Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 and 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service at High's.
