Morrison, TN resident and Battle Creek, MI native Leo Glenn Donley, age 82, was born April 18, 1933 and died January 19, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness. Retired from the Kellogg Company after 38 years of service, a United States veteran of the Korean war, and a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, he was the son of the late Cecil and Delilah Englehart Donley. He was married July 23, 1976 to Alta Mae Prater Donley of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children and their spouses, Scott Donley of Michigan, Brian and Darla Donley of Iowa, David Donley of Louisiana, Danny and Christy Donley of Montana, Don and Robbi Donley of Michigan, Larry and Beth Melvin of Florida, and Don Melvin of Florida; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. After retiring from Kellogg, Lee enjoyed collecting old metal toys and had quite an extensive collection. He enjoyed refurbishing old houses and loved sailing on Lake Michigan. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home in Battle Creek, MI. Burial will follow in Leroy Congregational Cemetery in East Leroy, MI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.
