Barbara Jane Hall

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Barbara Jane Hall, age 76, was born July 30, 1939 and died January 31, 2016 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN following a short illness. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Mina Wilson Turner. She was married August 20, 1955 to Hubert Clarence Hall who preceded her in death November 16, 2010. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sherry Pelham and Karon Layne; sister, Morylen Hillis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thurman and Pauline Hall; and special family, Matt Brewer. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Hilton Conger of McMinnville; six grandchildren and spouses, Jeremie and Lori Turner, Tanarra and Richard Grissom, Karissa and Mark Hale, Talissa Pelham, Rayce Brewer and Ridge Brewer all of McMinnville; eight great-grandchildren, Ethan, Keaton and Kristen Turner, Rachel and Sara Kate Grissom, Emilee and Hence Hale, and Dylan Lockhart; brother-in-law, John T. Hillis of McMinnville; special family, Jackie Pelham and Bud Turner both of McMinnville; and cousins, J. Paul Smith, Judy Adkins, David Gilstorf, Rich Wilson, Joey Wilson, Chuck Farless and Carolyn Matthews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday February 3, 2016 in High's Chapel with Ray Weddington and David Gilstorf officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's.
