Gloria Kline DaCosta, 91, a Winter Park, FL, resident, and Warren County, TN native, died on February 3rd at her childhood home in the Irving College community following an extended illness. Gloria was a loving and dedicated wife, long-time federal employee, and daughter of the late Elijah D. And Myrtle Hall Cain Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard DaCosta in 2012, sister, Bonita Cain Curtiss, and sister, Melba Cain Fraley. She is survived by nieces, Barbara Fraley of Panama City Beach, FL, Nancy(Sam) Hitchcock of Rock Island, and Molly Curtiss Schoenauer of Fairfax, VA, and nephew, Waymon Hugh Curtiss of McMinnville. She is also survived by great nieces, Dawn (Brent) Griffith, Nichole (Jeff) Mosley, both of McMinnville, and Virginia (Kim) Schoenauer, of Vienna, VA; and great-nephews, Gregory (Patricia) Hitchcock and John Tillman (Casandra) Hitchcock both of Rock Island, Thomas Schoenauer of Sterling, VA, and Dustin Curtiss of Sevierville, TN. Eleven great-great nieces and nephews, and thirteen great-great-great nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County with Reverend Jeff Page, pastor of the Locust Street Church of God, to officiate. There will be no visitation at High's.
