Ruth Green

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Ruth Green, age 73, was born August 20, 1942 and died February 6, 2016 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. A retired Registered Nurse with Baptist, St. Thomas and Vanderbilt Hospitals and member of the Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. Green, Sr. and the late Mary Jane Mullican Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Green, Jr. and nephew, John Thomas Mullican. Ms. Green is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and J.T. Mullican of Nashville, TN and Jane and Mike Cripps of McMinnville and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in High's Chapel with Eben Gilbert and Byron Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in the Faulkner Cemetery @ Pike Hill. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals On Wheels c/o High's.
