Alene Priest Duggin

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Alene Priest Duggin, age 74, was born July 1, 1941 and died February 9, 2016 at her residence following a sudden illness. Retired from Rockford Textile Company and a member of Locust St. Church of God, she was the daughter of the late John James and Mary Maggie Richardson Priest. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Bill Chisam; second husband, Kenneth Duggin; and sister, Linda Gail Granados. She is survived by daughter, Brenda Brymer of McMinnville; three sons, Terry William Stokes and Jerry Edward Stokes both of McMinnville, and Ricky Chisam of Washington, D.C.; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Thelma Tanner of Morrison, TN and Barbara Dotson of LaVergne, TN; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 in High's Chapel with Jeff Vandergriff officiating. Burial will follow in Crain Hill Cemetery, Van Buren County, TN. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's.
