Shirlee Lois Stiles Young

July 4, 1940 — February 14, 2016

Quebeck, TN resident and Warren County native Shirlee Lois Stiles Young, age 75, was born July 4, 1940 and died February 14, 2016 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A supervisor at Kroger and member of the DeRossett Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late James Ross and Clista Gribble Stiles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marshelle Young Shannon; brothers, Willie Bright and James Stiles and sister, Dot Peel. Mrs. Young was married November 24, 1955 to Bill D. Young of Quebeck, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Doug Young of Quebeck, TN and Temo Young of Doyle, TN; three grandchildren, Chaz Shannon of Quebeck, TN, Bill Young of Doyle, TN and Ashley Highfill of Antioch, TN; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Morgan of McMinnville and Faye Bouldin of Spencer, TN; three brothers, A.W. Stiles of Doyle, TN, Dewey Lee Stiles of Greenville, MS and Chester Bright of California and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in High's Chapel with Doug Goff officiating. Burial will follow in the Shockley Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's.
