Gale Hillis

Gale Hillis, age 59, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died February 29, 2016 in Erlanger Medical Center following a sudden illness. She was an employee with Yorozu Automotive, member of the Church of Christ and daughter of Dorothy O’Neal Webb of McMinnville and the late Villa Eugene Webb, Sr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by brother, Dennis Webb; mother-in-law, Ora Belle Hughes; and nephew, Travis Enman. Mrs. Hillis was married July 10, 1976 to Morris Hillis who survives. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by children and spouses, Ashli and Greg Johnson of Cookeville, TN, M.J. Hillis and Porntiwa Leelas of Smyrna, TN, and Erica Hillis and Chad Black of Dayton, OH; three grandchildren, Christian and Lauren Johnson and Harrison Hillis; two brothers, Gene Webb of McMinnville and Garry and Dedra Webb of Brentwood, TN; and three sisters, Dorothy Briggs and Vilas and Phillip Lappin both of McMinnville and Lindas Enman of Etna, ME. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 with Trent Key to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 and 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of service at High's.
