Levar Savalas Wilkerson

Levar Savalas Wilkerson, age 38, a Nashville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died March 5, 2016 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville following an extended illness. He was an employee at Rich's Products in Murfreesboro, TN, also worked for Uber Company, graduated from John Casablanca School of Design and from MTSU, a member of Fortieth Avenue Church of Christ, and the son of Nancy C. Wilkerson of Morrison, TN and the late Dwight Barnhill. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Demond Robinson Barnhill; maternal grandfather, Dave Wilkerson; paternal grandmother, Georgia Savage; and aunt, Ida Cummings. Mr. Wilkerson is survived by his mother; two sisters, Krista Dillard and Keith Fleming and Trista and Princeton Kennerly both of McMinnville, TN; maternal grandmother, Nancy L. Wilkerson of Viola, TN; five nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Kristopher, Harmoni, Micah and Willow; uncles, Eugene and Joyce Wilkerson and Jimmy and Linda Wilkerson both of Morrison; and aunts, Mary and Larry Battles of Morrison and Teresa and Lamont Carney of McMinnville. Levar loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. They were the light of his life. Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 in High's Chapel with Chris Whitaker to officiate. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 and 11:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service at High's.
