Lula Lucille Hallum

McMinnville resident and Dekalb County, TN native Lula Lucille Hallum, age 88, was born November 25, 1927 and died March 20, 2016 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A retired employee of Meals On Wheels and member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lula Austin Hallum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, A.P. Hallum and sister, Claudia Stanton. Ms. Hallum is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Charles Stanton officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at High's. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals On Wheels or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital c/o High's.
