Hilda Fay Scott

Hilda Fay Scott, age 84, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died March 26, 2016 in Raintree Manor following an extended illness. She was a retired employee with Oster Corporation, attended the Baptist Church, and daughter of the late Nathan Bouldin and Bessie Evans Richardson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James Lawson Scott; four brothers, Willard, Jim, Bill and N.H. Bouldin; six sisters, Flora Prater, Oma Richardson, Annie Roberts, Edna Richardson, Margie Hillis and Nettie Maude Ray; and two grandchildren, Ronald and Jason McGowan. Mrs. Scott is survived by children and spouses, Charlene and Jimmy McGowan of the Green Hill Community, Lois and Lee Roy Barrett, Jr. of Rock Island, TN, Hazel and David Anderson of Readyville, TN and James Lynn Scott of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Chris Barrett of Rock Island, Dr. Brian Anderson of Jacksonville, FL, and Jennifer Patch and Thomas Lynn Scott both of McMinnville; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside service and interment will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Shiloh Cemetery with Jason Brown to officiate. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 and 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at High's.
