Jeral Stanton Rowland, age 69, a McMinnville, TN resident and White County, TN native died April 2, 2016 at his residence following a brief illness. He was a retired truck driver with Freedom Express, veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard, member of Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church, and son of the late Jeral Ross and Pauline Lowery Rowland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Kim Rowland; infant daughter, Angie Rowland; and sister, Donna Carole Hash. Survivors include two children, Tammy Rowland and Becky Gibbs both of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Lindsay Snodgrass and Fiance Cody Parkhurst, Kelsi Snodgrass, Dakota Gibbs, Dillon Rowland, Bailey Martin and Brennan Martin all of McMinnville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Mike Adcock of Sparta, TN and Marilyn and Danny Jolley of Doyle, TN; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special niece, Charlotte Ely of Woodbury, TN; and special friend, Shirley Blair of McMinnville. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in High’s Chapel with Jeff Wegner to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with military grave rites conducted by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 and 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at High’s.
