Marsha Lynne Reaves

McMinnville, TN resident and Augusta, GA native Marsha Lynne Reaves, age 61, was born February 9, 1955 and died April 12, 2016 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A retired rural mail carrier and member of Shellsford Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Zora Chastain Waldrop. She was married December 8, 1990 to Jack Reaves of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Lisa Norris of McMinnville; two grandsons, Peyton Norris and Brady Norris both of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Jerry Phillips of McMinnville; two half-sisters, Deborah Warren and Sandra Gee both of Georgia; nephew, Miles Cantrell of McMinnville; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 in High's Chapel with Tony Roberts officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Chastain Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to Kastaway Kitties or Meals on Wheels.
