Barbara Jean Allison

Fort Oglethorpe, GA resident and Detroit, MI native Barbara Jean Allison, age 72, was born March 22, 1944 and died April 15, 2016 at Pruitt Health in Fort Oglethorpe, GA following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison, TN, she was the daughter of the late Temple James and Evelyn Grey Roberts Wright. She was married February 14, 1986 to Burlen Bob Allison who preceded her in death. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Tracy Stephenson of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Kimberly Allison; and four grandchildren. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016 in Mt. View Cemetery with Eric Stitts officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at High's.
