Betty Ruth Long

Betty Ruth Long, age 82, a McMinnville, TN resident and Marion County, TN native died April 21, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a retired employee with Arwood Can Company, member of the Church of Christ and daughter of the late Early Howard and Emma Lee Green Jaco. Mrs. Long was married November 3, 1962 to Lawrence H. Long who preceded her in death on November 4, 2009. Survivors include daughters, Betty Jean Floyd and Evelyn Kilgore both of McMinnville; son, Jimmy Floyd of McMinnville; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. in High's Parlor Friday, April 22, 2016 with Kevin Key to officiate. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Friday until time of service at High's.
