Frank Houston Cherry

Frank Houston Cherry, age 79, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died May 9, 2016 in St. Thomas West Hospital following a brief illness. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company, veteran of the U.S. Army and son of the late Clyde Leon and Annie Beatrice Jones Cherry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Glenn Cherry; seven brothers; and three sisters. Mr. Cherry was married to Shirley Lynn Hall Cherry who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Gary and Joyce Cherry and Greg Cherry all of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Jared (Holly) Cherry, Telia Dodson, Lynette (Jake) Hawkins, Shayla (John David) Hankins, April Cherry and Destiny Cherry; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Larry Cherry of San Jose, CA. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. A private service will be held by the family.
