Anna Pearl McNeal

Doyle, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Anna Pearl McNeal, age 88, was born December 1, 1927 and died May 11, 2016 at her residence. A retired school teacher with the Warren County School System and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late William and Mattie Bryant Dodson. She was married September 12, 1947 to Edward "Chip" McNeal who preceded her in death on December 12, 1987. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Jimmy McNeal; sister, Genella Markum; and two brothers, Frank and James Dodson. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Nancy McNeal of Doyle, TN; daughter-in-law, Susan McNeal of LaVergne, TN; six grandchildren and spouses, Sonny and Nancy McNeal, Jason and Heather McNeal, Jennifer and Trevor Myers, Joanna and Brent Carden, Carson and Holly McNeal, and Connor McNeal; nine great-grandchildren; five sisters, Louise Binkley of Quebeck, TN, Shirley Walker of Doyle, TN, Glenda Adams of Readyville, TN, Sue Bailey of Van Buren County, TN and June Seamons of Rock Island, TN; and brother, D.L. Dodson of Doyle, TN. A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 in Beech Cove Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN with Doug Goff officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday at High's. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
