Hattie Pearl Bess Patterson

Hattie Pearl Bess Patterson, age 89, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died May 17, 2016 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of First Baptist Church and daughter of the late Gaston Glade & Sarah Indiana Short Bess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Betty Blackshaw; and great-grandson, Joshua Landtroop. Survivors include children and spouses, Belinda Ann and William Doris Landtroop of Lewisburg, TN, George A. (Pat) and Carolyn Patterson of Morrison, TN and Mira Patterson Woodlee and Buddy and Jan Patterson all of McMinnville; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Gwynn of Delaware and Sarah Jeanette Bess; and brother, Aubrey Myers of Delaware. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 in High's Chapel with Jason Brown to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 and 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service at High's. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
