Tommy Mac Ragsdale, M.D.

McMinnville, TN resident and Dyersburg, TN native Tommy Mac Ragsdale, M.D., age 65, was born December 11, 1950 and died June 9, 2016 at his residence following and extended illness. A retired physician with McMinnville Medical Associates and a member of Bridges of Hope Fellowship Church, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Tommye Austin Ragsdale, Jr. He was married April 3, 1976 to Judy Young Ragsdale of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly Woods of McMinnville and Mary Beth and Brad Dyer of Lexington, TN; four grandchildren, Hayden Woods and Bella Woods both of McMinnville, and Braylyn Dyer and Barrett Dyer both of Lexington, TN; and brother, Danny Ragsdale of Cordova, TN.Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 in High's Chapel with Jamie English officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High's.Memorial donations may be made to Bridges of Hope Fellowship Church, the American Cancer Society, the Kidney Cancer Association, or a charity of your choice.
