Joyce Talbert

Joyce Talbert, age 77, a McMinnville, TN resident and Dallas, TX native died June 10, 2016 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was a retired nurse with River Park Hospital, member of First Assembly of God and daughter of the late Dillard Paris and June Davis Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lee Wayne Talbert and granddaughter, Tansey Talbert. Survivors include three sons, David Talbert (Barry Tate), Ricky Talbert (Jackie Newby) and Tony Talbert (Tina Shepard) all of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Leah (Josh) Gibbs and Jake Talbert both of McMinnville; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 in High’s Chapel with Bro. Glenn Burks and Bro. Sammy Lee to officiate. Interment will follow in Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday at High’s.
