Violet Marean Bond

Violet Marean Bond, age 95, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died June 11, 2016 in Raintree Manor following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of Shellsford Baptist Church and daughter of the late Jesse Edward "Shorty" and Abby Gail Coppinger Stoner. Mrs. Bond was married to James Huston Bond who preceded her in death in 2003. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Jimmy and Carl Bond; sisters, Lyda Smartt, Amy Coppinger and Loraine Rhea; and brother, Clinton Stoner. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny D. and Joyce Bond, Sr. of McMinnville and Bob Bond of Jackson, TN; granddaughter-daughter, Donna Spangler of Savannah, TN; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Helen Bond of White, GA. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 at Shellsford Baptist Church with Donald Owens and David Daugherty to officiate. Interment will follow in Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2016 at High's and 9:00 a.m. Monday until the time of service at Shellsford Baptist Church.
