Tom Jennings, Jr.

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Tom Jennings, Jr., age 80, was born January 3, 1936 and died June 24, 2016 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A farmer, he was the son of the late Tom and Alice Lee Hillis Jennings, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jessie James Jennings; two sisters, Azalia Ledbetter and Thelma Byars; and half-brother and three half-sisters, George Jennings, Lema Myers, Irene Seals and Velma Killian. He is survived by two sisters, Earline Ledbetter and Dorothy Pack both of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2016 in High's Chapel with Tony Smedley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Hwy. 30. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at High's.
