Toni Annette Cantrell Cathey

Morrison, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native Toni Annette Cantrell Cathey, age 53, was born August 26, 1962 and died June 27, 2016 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A jeweler at Houston's Jewelry, manager at Insta-Cash, and a member of Morrison First Baptist Church and Webb's Chapel Methodist Church, she was the daughter of Olen H. and Waltine Young Cantrell of Sparta, TN. She was married to Greg Cathey of Morrison, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two children, Justin Cathey and wife Heather of McMinnville and Judith Cathey of Morrison, TN; granddaughter, Abigail Rayne Cathey; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Loucinda Adams of Sparta, TN, Tena and Tim Ferguson of Collinwood, TN, and Becky and Craig Greenwood of Salt Lake City, UT; brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Jamie Cantrell of Sparta, TN; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Margaret Elizabeth Cathey of Morrison, TN; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Jan Davidson of Morrison, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 in High's Chapel with Tim Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery, Coffee County, TN. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High's.
