Eva L. Lance Thurman

Eva L. Lance Thurman, age 73, a Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died June 30, 2016 in Elva's Boarding Home following an extended illness. She was a retired self-employed hairdresser, member of the Church of Christ and daughter of the late Rufus L. and Clara Belle Redmon Lance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Gentry William Thurman and two brothers, Neal Lance and Roy Lance. Mrs. Thurman is survived by daughter, Sheila Renee Hedge of Cookeville, TN; two grandchildren, Brandon Hedge and wife Lori of Franklin, TN and Josh Hedge and wife Jackie of Nashville, TN; four great-grandchildren, Jordan Hillis, Nathaniel Hedge, Ethan Hedge and Jonny Hedge; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 in High's Chapel with Richard Bowman to officiate. Interment will follow in Charles Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 and 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service at High's.
