Betty Virginia Angaran

Rock Island, TN resident and Detroit, MI native Betty Virginia Angaran, age 80, was born March 18, 1936 and died July 7, 2016 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following a four-month illness. Retired as a watch repair at Hudson's Dept. Store and a member of New Union United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Fran Veech Frey. She was married July 13, 1957 to Richard Angaran of Rock Island, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children and their spouses, Arthur and Kay Angaran of Carp Lake, MI, Alan Angaran of Center Line, MI, Audrey Trapp of Smithville, TN, Ann Marie Sapienza of Warren, MI and Joseph H. and Lisa Angaran of Smithville, TN; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Tom Salawage of Dearborn, MI, Florence Kawalski of Florida and Mildred and Bob Wold of California. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 in High's Chapel with David Grissom officiating. Burial will follow in New Union Cemetery, Hwy. 30. Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High's.
