Ricky Dale Scott

Ricky Dale Scott, age 59, a McMinnville, TN resident and native died August 9, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness. He was an employee of Federal Mogul, member of the Church of Christ at Bonner and son of Lincoln and Bettie Jo Scott of McMinnville. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by son, Stacy D. Scott; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Margie Pepper; paternal grandparents, Marshall and Annie Scott; uncle, Ronnie Scott; and cousin, John Snider. He was married February 13, 2016 to Samantha Grissom Scott who survives. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by son Jason Scott of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Johnny Pack; brothers and sister-in-law, Terry “Buster” Scott and caregiver Betty Soloman of McMinnville and Joe Wayne and Freda Scott of Rock Island, TN; eight grandchildren; mother-in-law, Judy Dishman of Cookeville, TN; aunt, Beatrice Snider of McMinnville; and special cousin, Phyllis Snider of McMinnville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 in High’s Chapel with Tim Long and Glenn Price to officiate. Interment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016 and 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service at High’s.
