Anna Jo Harris

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Anna Jo Harris, age 72, was born September 19, 1943 and died August 19, 2016 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. Retired from Carrier Corporation and a member of East End Drive Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late George and Cloppie Northcutt Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Ann Haynes, Mary Ann Guest and Beulah Winton; and two brothers, A.C. Thomas and Freeman Thomas. She was married to Robert L. Harris of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Randall Lee Harris and wife Paula of McMinnville and Robert Mandel Harris of McMinnville; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and cousin and best friend, Bobbie Mae Shockley and Henrietta Lusk. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 in High's Chapel with George King officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at High's.
