John Wesley Allen Young

John Wesley Allen Young, age 33, a Christiana, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native passed suddenly at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on August 27, 2016. He was a foreman at Platinum Roofing and son of Jeff Young of Murfreesboro, TN and Nancy Haley of McMinnville, TN. Mr. Young was married to Kelly Brown Young who survives. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by daughter, Madison Elizabeth Young; step-mother, Tina Young of Murfreesboro; sisters and brother-in-law, Tara and Stacy Sanders of McMinnville and Ashley Young of Los Angeles, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Sawyer and Christie Young of Murfreesboro; paternal grandmother, Wilma Young of Murfreesboro; two nephews, Jon Young and Colton Young both of McMinnville; niece, Riley Sanders of McMinnville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 in High's Parlor with Jackie Matheny to officiate. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2:00 p.m. Friday until time of service at High's. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for his daughter, Madison Elizabeth Young.
