Frankie Golden

Frankie Golden, age 85, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died September 6, 2016 in St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital following a sudden illness. Ms. Golden was a retired school teacher and had taught in Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. She was a member of Central Church of Christ and daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Charlotte Byars Golden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Paul, Leighton and Chester Golden; and sisters, Esther Binkley, Jewel Allen, Nellie Rose, Gay Nisbett, Vera Wilson and Pearl Biddle. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Delana Golden of McMinnville; grandchildren, Jordan, Abby, Andrew, Rebecca, Samuel and Mary Golden of McMinnville; and longtime caregivers, Lisa Barrett and family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 in High’s Chapel with Ben and Bobby Golden to officiate. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service at High’s.
