Rickey Lane Elkins

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Rickey Lane Elkins, age 53, was born August 9, 1963 and died September 19, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. A retired real estate broker and member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ where he served as a deacon, he was the son of Bonnie Elkins Prater of McMinnville and the late Lane Elkins. He was married August 31, 1984 to Beth Ann Cantrell Elkins of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children and spouses, Holly and Nathan Luna of Woodbury, TN, Jessica and Tucker Higgins of McMinnville and Colby Elkins of McMinnville; two granddaughters, Anlee Luna and Mia Higgins; two brothers and sister-in-law, Barry and Kristol Elkins of McMinnville and Brent Elkins of McMinnville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gordon and Jane Cantrell of McMinnville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Danny and Lori Cantrell of Murfreesboro, TN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie and Steve Sain of McMinnville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in High's Chapel with Trent Key officiating. Burial will follow in Centertown Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's.
