Judy Glenn Self

Judy Glenn Self, a McMinnville, TN native and graduate of McMinnville City High School, passed away Saturday, September 24th, 2016 in Cookeville, TN. Judy was the daughter of the late Laverne Martin Haley and Robert Alfred Glenn. Prior to retirement Judy lived in Tampa, FL, where she worked as a property manager in the hotel industry for many years. Judy grew up singing and performing as one of the “Glenn Sisters” and enjoyed music throughout her life. She was a sports fan and avid reader. Judy is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Julie Anne Benjamin and Mary Glenn and Jason Organ all of Cookeville, TN; granddaughters, Hannah, Emma and Grace Benjamin and Pearl Organ all of Cookeville; sisters, Carolyn Glenn Taylor, Brenda Glenn Lochaby and Nancy Haley Young; and brother Jimmy Haley. Friends are invited to visit with family on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at High's. A graveside service and inurnment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
