Earl McCarty

Earl McCarty, age 61, a McMinnville, TN resident and Kentucky native died October 1, 2016 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a retired machinist with the TVA and member of Pioneer Community Church. He was preceded in death by nephews, Gregory Graham and Tyler Graham; father-in-law, Charles Cagle; and brother-in-law, Tony Luna. Mr. McCarty was married September 16, 1994 to Tammy Luna McCarty who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children and spouses, Mike and April McCarty of McMinnville and Maritta McCarty and Gloria Simon of Woodbury, TN; two grandchildren, Kassie McCarty of McMinnville and Natalya McCarty of Smithville, TN; father-in-law, Leonard Luna of McMinnville; mother-in-law, Linda Cagle of McMinnville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tina and Scott Thomas and Terri and Howard Templeton all of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 in High's Chapel with Jon Ballard to officiate. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of service at High's.
