Phyllis Ann Brown

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Phyllis Ann Brown, age 56, was born September 25, 1960 and died October 14, 2016 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A retired sales clerk, she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Nana Lou Johnson Melton, Sr. She was married to Donnie Muncey of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Janice Brown of McMinnville and Rebecca Reed of Sparta, TN; two step-sons, Gene Muncey and Joseph Muncey both of McMinnville; eight grandchildren; best friend forever, Tammy Young of McMinnville; four brothers, David Melton of McMinnville, Robert Melton of Smithville, TN, Lee Melton of Sparta, TN and Jr. Melton of Texas; sister, Gail Melton of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016 in High's Chapel. Burial will follow in Bethlehelm Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at High's.
