Georgia Etta Roberts

Georgia Etta Roberts, age 95, a McMinnville, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native died October 25, 2016 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was a retired employee with Genesco, member of East End Church of Christ and daughter of the late Floyd and Maggie Hillis Thomison. Mrs. Roberts was married January 21, 1939 to A. C. Roberts who preceded her in death in 1979. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Doran and Keith Thomison. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Mary Roberts of the Centertown Community; daughter, Tina Roberts of Lebanon, TN; and grandson, Jonathan Roberts of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Jewell & Maudie Thomison of Bone Cave, TN. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 in High’s Chapel with Kevin Key to officiate. Interment will follow in Crain Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service at High’s. Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
