Billy Dale Simmons

Billy Dale Simmons, age 79, a McMinnville, TN resident and Coffee County, TN native was born September 17, 1937 and died December 3, 2016 in NHC Healthcare following a brief illness. He was a veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard, retired shipping clerk with Powermatic, member of the Church of Christ and son of the late Joe and Ethel Elam Simmons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Jo Helen Parsley Simmons; and two sisters, Edna McClain and Clara Mae Davis. Mr. Simmons is survived by daughter, Angela Collins of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, David Earl and Joyce Simmons of Livonia, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in High's Chapel with Tim Long and Terrell Bunting to officiate. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at High's.
