On Tuesday, February 21, 2017 God reached down from Heaven and took Tammy Elaine Patton Blake’s hand and said, “Come Home My Child” at the end of her battle with cancer. She was greeted at the gates of Heaven by her grandparents, Malcolm and Dovie Pedigo and Flavil and Ola Mae Patton; and uncle, Charles Patton, Sr. who preceded her in death. Tammy was born on January 17, 1961 in Murfreesboro. She was an Emergency Room Registration Clerk at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville. She is survived by her family who holds precious memories of her, which include her mother, Maxine Pedigo Patton; father and his wife, Douglas and Linda Patton; daughter, Heather Blake and grandson, Adalwulf Hughes; brother, Jimmy Patton; uncles and aunts, Malcolm “Sonny” Pedigo, Jr. and wife Sandra, Rebekah Patton, Bill and Pat Snodgrass and Mary Ann Stewart; and several cousins and close friends. Her family will have visitation at High Funeral Home on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017 in High Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Phillip Rowland and Rachel Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery with Bro. Jim Tollison officiating.
