Buford Oscar "Ozzie" Bonner, Jr., age 59, a McMinnville, TN resident and native was born August 26, 1957 and died March 4, 2017 following a sudden illness. He was an employee with Dunn Steel, member of the Church of Christ and son of Lola Mae Youngblood Bonner of McMinnville and the late Buford Oscar Bonner, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Jim Harrison. Mr. Bonner was married April 4, 1981 to Terry Mayfield Bonner who survives. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Breu and Melissa Bonner and Jensen and Samantha Bonner all of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Jade and Justin Fults of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Presley Bonner, Atlanta Jade Fults, Jackson James Gunter Lovell Bonner, Stella Grace Ann Bonner and Remington Oscar Van Fults; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah Bonner Harrison of Manchester, TN, Dianne and Rod Amburn of Jefferson, GA and Darlene and Shawn Molloy of Sevierville, TN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene Paul and Ann Mayfield of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Hal Mayfield; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Tonia and Mark Latka and Tracy Mayfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at New Union Methodist Church with Tim Lewis to officiate. Interment will follow in New Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at the Church. There will be no visitation at High's. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
