McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Fred Tittsworth, age 97, was born June 3, 1919 and died suddenly April 2, 2017 following an automobile accident. A retired lineman with Caney Fork Electric and a member of Blue Springs Cove Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Anthony Paten and Lou Dora Jones Tittsworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Paralee Morgan Tittsworth; aunt, Martha Webb; great-grandson, Marcus Tittsworth; son-in-law, Fred Byrd, Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, James Monroe and Louella Tittsworth; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Redge Corville and Emliy and Russell Jones. He was married to Lillie Jennings Tittsworth of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, James and Dorthea Tittsworth, Anthony and Judy Tittsworth and Danny and Shirley Tittsworth all of McMinnville, and Julius and Elaine Tittsworth of Rock Island, TN; daughter, Emley Byrd of McMinnville; three step-children and spouses, Larry and Lisa DeLong, Billy and Laurie DeLong, and Doris and Steve Hattaway; half-brother, Tony Tittsworth and wife Ruth of McMinnville; half-sister, Ruby Zeller of Baltimore, MD; special cousin, Aaron Webb and wife Gloria of Smithville, TN; fourteen grandchildren, Angela, Donna, Richard, Anastasia, Becky, Travis, Scott, Jeff, Steven, Cytha, Challis, Cerissa, Lonnie and Michael; and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, Taylor, Tristin, Trayton, Tanner, Spencer, Savannah, Michele, Timmy, Riley, Kaden, Austin, Colton, Hunter, Christopher, Blaine, Erin, Brandon, Kaylee, Jake, Kolbie, Billy, Lola, Cooper, Evan, Emley Brook, Kyle, Jason, Latisha, Garrett, Elexia, Zoey, Mikey, Jeremiah, Chrystal, Hailey, Jaden, and future great-great-grandchild, Lorelai Mae. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in High's Chapel with Gary Newby and Bill Walkup officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery.
