Jerry Levaughn Myers

February 14, 1949 — April 18, 2017

Jerry Levaughn Myers, age 68, a Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born February 14, 1949 and died April 18, 2017 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. He was a retired employee of Carrier Corporation and Minister with Chestnut Grove Church of Christ and son of the late Elmer Lois and Frances McBride Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Shirley Myers Gann; and two nephews, Charles Gann, Jr. and Christopher Blake Gann. Mr. Myers was married June 27, 1970 to Mary Alice Gann Myers who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Gary Myers of Morrison and Barry Myers of McMinnville, TN; three grandchildren, Gage Myers of McMinnville, Annaley Myers of Morrison and Junah Bouldin of Smartt Station; two aunts, Reva McBride and Tina Northcutt both of McMinnville; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Wayne Gann, Charles Gann, Larry and Nancy Gann and David Gann all of McMinnville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Faye and Jimmy Scott of McMinnville and Patsy and Doug Tigue of Smartt Station; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 in High's Chapel with Jason Gann to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at High's.
