McMinnville resident and Coffee County native Linda Jean Gilley, age 75, was born December 15, 1941 and died May 13, 2017 at her residence following a one-year illness. A homemaker and member of Spirit of Life and Hope Church, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Ruby Burdett Moore. She was married to Ray Donald Gilley who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jessica and Joshua Baker; two brothers, Charles and Gilbert Moore and sister, Dean Lane. Mrs. Gilley is survived by three children, Michael (Debbie) St. John of Decherd, TN, Jenene (Paul) Baker of Rock Island, TN and Debbie Fults (Robert Young) of McMinnville; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sarah (Bill) Brown and Joyce (Jerry) Prater both of Beech Grove, TN and Pam (Billy) Hill of Hillsboro, TN; brother, Ronnie (Marissa) Moore of Beech Grove, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in High's Chapel with Anthony Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's.
