Charity Pearl Bouldin Rutledge, age 87, a Rock Island, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native was born December 28, 1929 and died June 22, 2017 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was a retired employee of Levi’s, member of Pine Bluff Community Church and daughter of the late Clyde Bouldin and Lola Ann Lee Farris. Mrs. Rutledge was married to Pastor James Rutledge who preceded her in death on February 19, 2007. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Monty Darnea Rutledge; sisters, Christy Bennett and Laura Williams; brothers, Howard and Gary Bouldin; step-brother, Jody Crick; step-mother, Ann Bouldin; and great-grandchild, Tyler Green Fisher. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Donna Rutledge of Campaign and Cynthia and Ronnie McCormick of Rock Island, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Sidney and Frances Rutledge of McMinnville; seven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Hayes and Martha Wooley of Campaign; step-sister, Judy Martin of Rock Island; brothers, Lester Bouldin of Rock Island and Michael Bouldin of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017 in High’s Chapel with Brent Craven and Sean Rutledge to officiate. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at High’s.
