Billy Earl Lafever

Quebeck, TN resident and Putnam County, TN native Billy Earl Lafever, age 80, was born November 12, 1937 and died December 16, 2017 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. A self-employed tool maker and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Rev. Earl and Jewell Chesney Lafever. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Gregory Lafever; and two daughters-in-law, Janet and Laura Lafever. He is survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, Dale and Brenda Lafever of Rock Island, TN, Danny Lafever of Rock Island, TN and Dennis Lafever of Quebeck, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Dena and Chris Stickle of McMinnville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Grosch of McMinnville; and four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Linda Lafever of Sparta, TN, Roy Lafever and Jerry Lafever both of Bago, Phillipines, and Steve and Patsy Lafever of Manhattan, KS. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in High's Chapel with Mark Lafever officiating. Burial will follow in Lafever Cemetery, White County, TN. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at High's.
