Ralph Earl "Curley" Roberts

Ralph Earl “Curley” Roberts, age 71, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native was born August 13, 1946 and died January 1, 2018 at his daughter’s residence following an extended illness. He was a veteran of the United States Army, retired driver for Warren Farmers Co-op, member of Laurel Creek Baptist Church and son of the late Jessie and Annie Bouldin Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Jeff Roberts; brother, James Roberts; and sisters, Betty Martin and Dean Roberts. Survivors include children and spouses, Christy and Joe Shaw of Alabama and Angie and Dwain Cantrell of McMinnville; grandchildren, Steven Lee Wade and Chase Taylor; great-grandchildren, Grant Brady, Luke Taylor, Carter Taylor and Dawson Taylor; sisters, Rita Johnson of Smithville, Pat Roberts, Judy Melton, Faye Roberts and Pam Roberts all of McMinnville; brother, Larry Roberts of McMinnville; special friends, Danny Roller and Miles Collier. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 in High’s Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Military grave rites conducted by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at High’s.
