Fred Randolph, age 95, a Sparta, TN resident and Hazel Green, AL native was born October 31, 1922 and died January 25, 2018 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Army, member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and son of the late Tim and Irene Curtis Randolph. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Gary Randolph; step-son, Timothy Edward Sharp; sister, Eula Randolph; three brothers, R.L. and Clifton Priest and Jessie Randolph. Mr. Randolph was married December 29, 1989 to Margaret Lawson Randolph who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Marie Randolph of Nashville and Terry Randolph of Georgia; two step-sons, Gene Sharp of Alberta, AL and Jessie Sharp of Sparta; three step-daughters, Sheryl DeBord of Pikeville, Elaine Hastings and Shellie Kirby both of Spencer; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Stone of Shelbyville and Geraldine Muncey of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 in High’s Chapel with Jeff Smith to officiate. Interment will follow in DeBord Cemetery with military grave rites conducted by Bledsoe County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of service at High’s.
