Maggie Cleo Simons

Maggie Cleo Simons, age 93, a Warren County, TN resident and native was born September 9, 1924 and died February 6, 2018 in Signature Healthcare of Fentress County following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of the Church of Christ and daughter of the late William J. and Martha Holt Prater. Mrs. Simons was married September of 1953 to Joseph Lawson “J.L.” Simons who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters. Survivors include three children and spouses, JoAnn and Mike Archambault of Clarkrange, TN, James Gary and Cathey Simons of Manchester, TN and Jeffery Simons of Clarkrange; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 in High’s Chapel with Greg Nash to officiate. Interment will follow in Crain Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service at High’s.
