McMinnville resident and Cook County, IL native Abygayle Elizabeth Jones, age 16, was born May 2, 2008 and died October 30, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
An employee of Fazoli’s and a member of Gath Baptist Church, she was the daughter of Tony and Penny Jones of McMinnville. Abygayle was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Thomas Walden; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Rosemarie Jones; sister, Jennifer Olejniczak; aunt, Kimberly Keiss and uncle, Daniel Joseph Jones, Jr.
In addition to her parents, Miss Jones is survived by sister, Gabryelle Jones of McMinnville; brothers, Tylor Jones of Knoxville, TN, Christopher Jones of McMinnville and Phil Olejniczak and Josh Olejniczak, both of Chicago, IL; nephew, Xavier Jones; five nieces, Ashlyn Jones, Rowan Jones, Carter Olejniczak, Chloe Budzinski and Chrisla Jones; maternal grandmother, Hope Walden of McMinnville; aunts and uncles, Anna Vines, Nancy Amend, Sue Sullivan, Gennie Jones, James Jones, Sam (Cary) Jones, Tommy Collins, James Walden, Robert Walden, Timothy Walden; several cousins; best friends, Ana Dimas, Lillie Holman, Brooklyn Gilley, Lakelyn Basham and many more special friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Gath Baptist Church with Anthony Campbell and Ray Gilder officiating. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Friday, November 8 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Saturday, November 9 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 10 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at High’s.
