McMinnville, TN resident and native Adolf Woodlee, age 88, was born July 15, 1936 and died October 23, 2024 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness.
A United States Army veteran, retired self-employed farm equipment manufacturer and member of Armstrong Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Andrew Beecher and Pauline Fults Woodlee. He was married February 15, 1957 to Jean Ann Barber Woodlee who preceded him in death March 1, 2014. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Leon Woodlee, Robert Woodlee and Dwight Woodlee.
Mr. Woodlee is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Jimmie and Brenda Woodlee of McMinnville, Scott Woodlee of Davenport, FL and Matthew and Kim Woodlee of Virginia; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Anderson of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Woodlee and Judy Woodlee both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Willow Branch and Gentiva Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Jim Hunt to officiate. Interment will follow at Armstrong Cemetery in Warren County. Full military honors will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
