Alene Hoover Southard

Alene Hoover Southard, age 99, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, passed November 8, 2020 at the Webb House in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness. She was a retired clerical worker with McMinnville Electric System, had most recently worked for Ramsey Boyd Realty, was a member of Westwood Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late Alton and Cora Crawley Hoover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Royce Stubblefield; second husband, Bob Southard; daughter, Donna Jean Quattlebaum; grandson, Steven Quattlebaum; and brother, James Edward Hoover. Mrs. Southard is survived by granddaugther, Angela Campbell; great-grandson, Jake Campbell; and brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Emma Hoover. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 in High’s Chapel with Richard O’Connor officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
